About The Position

The Program Coordinator – Surgical Services leads assigned areas of the programs for Southwest Healthcare System. The Program Coordinator – Surgical Services has direct accountability for serving the Orthopedic, Spine, Urology and Robotics. This position works closely with physician partners, facility leaders, and the community in business planning, marketing, and development for the program including integration and optimization of surgical patient care. Facilitates daily program operations; demonstrates thorough understanding of financial system for budget management, facility policies and procedures, clinical information systems, and business/marketing program management. Role models facility’s mission, vision, and values; supports the learning of others; and, practices Leader standard work. Collaborates with Clinical Leaders on program specific clinical processes in order to ensure efficiency. The Program Coordinator – Surgical Services acts as mentor and coach to enable problem solving and develops smooth functioning Teams with a focus on affordability, quality, and satisfaction. Establish workflows, and outcome focus across inpatient and outpatient surgery service lines. Other duties as assigned.
