About The Position

As a Program Controls Specialist I here at Honeywell, you will play a role in managing and directing the control and oversight of various aspects of a project, such as scheduling, cost management, risk assessment, and reporting. You will report directly to our Sr Program Controls Manager, and you'll work out of our Aguadilla, Puerto Rico location. External hires begin with 90 days onsite before transitioning to a hybrid 3/2 schedule. Internal hires will work a 3/2 hybrid schedule. Be part of a team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance within Honeywell Aerospace Propulsion. You will be the technical leader and be a decision maker for program cost, schedule and technical issues. You will prioritize your work, design goals and objectives, and drive program performance. The role will support fast-paced programs within Propulsion.

Requirements

  • Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in Business, Math, Finance or Economics or related field.
  • Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience
  • Ability to work in a large and diverse team in a matrix-work environment.
  • User experience of SAP system.
  • User experience of Microsoft Project
  • Experience with financial data compilation, analysis and metrics management.
  • Experience in usage of Earned Value metrics, managing budgets and milestone fidelity.

  • Supports organizational feedback for utilized tools and process efficiencies
  • Complete required certification and application training
