About The Position

AT&T Global Public Sector is seeking a Project Controller to support the financial administration of government contracts within the Virginia Program Office. This role is crucial for the National Security Team, which provides, operates, and assures critical voice, video, and collaboration services for the intelligence community. The position requires a minimum of 5 days per week in the office at the customer's site in Chantilly, Virginia.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen and able to attain clearance.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting or business administration or relevant work experience.

  • Experience with AT&T Financial, accounting and reporting systems.
  • Experience with contract reporting systems for Government Cost Plus and Fixed Price contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop budgets and schedules for contract work.
  • Perform and/or assist in financial analyses, including funding, revenue & expense outlooks, variance analysis, and internal systems reports.
  • Devise, control, and implement all program financial reporting and advise management of financial status.
  • Ensure all contractual deliverable requirements (e.g., billing, reports) are met.
  • Facilitate proper invoicing to assigned customers and assist with investigations of outstanding accounts receivables (AR).
  • Perform analysis to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks.
  • Analyze, track, and maintain adequate funding for work at hand.
  • Maintain accurate records of expenditures and prepare expenditure projections.
  • Manage and submit timely requests to the government for additional funding.
  • Incorporate contractual changes into control systems.
  • Analyze and track progress of work against contract items and report on contract cost and schedule baselines.
  • Devise analytical instruments to report or perform in-depth studies to determine optimum program plans.
  • Lead interdepartmental development of program plans.
  • Interface with vendors and customers, create and track purchase orders.
  • Perform investigations as required.
  • Oversee and report performance to ensure contractual, cost, and schedule objectives are met; arrange modifications as required.
  • Respond to requests from Corporate CFO and/or Division Finance & Business Operations staff related to revenue and sales tracking and forecasts for assigned projects.
  • Supply data and inputs to Outlooks and Forecasts.
  • Track, analyze, and interpret systems outputs (e.g., SAART, ROME, Deltek Time Reporting, Costpoint, A/P, A/R, Purchasing).
