About The Position

Compile and analyze financial information for an organization. Support senior management business decisions through financial and business analysis. Apply advanced skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction and mentor and supervise team members. Lead Financial Control for a large Department of Defense contract. Lead a geographically dispersed team responsible for budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting, and independently establish team priorities and execute complex business and financial assignments. Monitor key performance indicators, manage financial risks and develop mitigations plans, and proactively and clearly communicate recommendations to leadership and clients. Prepare and review bottom-up forecasts and lead internal and client financial reviews.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience with Federal Government Contracting
  • 3+ years of experience in a managerial role
  • Experience with AAS, formerly FEDSIM
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Finance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with program cost control, contract interpretation, budget development, and administration of government projects
  • Experience leading geographically dispersed teams
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel, including using complex formulas and functions
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation and Department of State Standard Regulations, federal budget process, and funds management
  • Ability to prepare financial forecasts based on bottom-up analyses and historical trends
  • Ability to remain adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment
