About The Position

Youth Focus has joined with Alexander Youth Network, and together they are passionate about helping children overcome mental health challenges. Their teams are committed to creating an environment that empowers every individual to thrive and make a difference. They offer career development opportunities, mentorship and coaching, and pathways for advancement. The Youth Focus’ My Sister Susan’s House (MSSH) provides supervised housing for pregnant and parenting youth ages 16-21 for up to 18 months. The Program Coach provides support to youth in a residential setting, helping them learn independent living skills. This is a 3rd shift standby/sleep position at The Youth Focus’ My Sister Susan’s House program. This position is on-site, providing standby support during overnight hours. While on standby, the Program Coach can sleep. Sleep hours are paid at the federal minimum wage. The Program Coach’s agency wage is paid for any awake hours or for other day-time shifts worked.

Requirements

Minimum of 21 years of age
High School Diploma/ Equivalent Required
Job applicants must be female - This program serves expectant or new mothers, and the staff member works alone for the majority of her shift. Because the job requires rooms checks and assistance with personal hygiene, breast feeding, and pre- and post-natal care.
