About The Position

SEAKR Engineering is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead technical design and delivery of advanced electronics for space applications. The role develops new architectures, refines existing architectures, and establishes requirements, while serving as a technical interface with customers. The Chief Engineer leads a design team from initial specification through hardware delivery across box, module, board, FPGA, and software-level designs, and champions program simulation, analysis, integration, and test. The position oversees digital board design, including design documentation, schematic capture and review, signal and power integrity analysis, routing instructions, board layout coordination and review, test planning, hardware verification, and debug. It also provides technical oversight across multiple module designs and disciplines, including Hardware, Logic, Mechanical, Software, Manufacturing, Test, and Systems Engineering. The role supports the full program life cycle from ATP through delivery, including environmental testing such as thermal cycling, thermal vacuum, vibration, and EMI/EMC. It leads technical matters at major program reviews and contributes to reviews of FPGA, software, and mechanical designs. Hands-on lab debugging and system integration and validation are also required. Limited local travel may be required. U.S. citizenship is required.
