About The Position

SEAKR Engineering is seeking an Electrical Engineer to serve as Program Chief Engineer (Technical Lead), developing new architectures, refining existing architectures, and establishing requirements for advanced space electronics. The role leads a design team from initial specification through hardware delivery across box, module, board, FPGA, and software designs, and serves as a technical interface with customers. The Chief Engineer oversees design, simulation, analysis, integration, test, hardware checkout, validation, and full-system box integration and environmental testing. Responsibilities include digital board design and documentation; schematic capture and review; signal- and power-integrity analysis; board layout coordination and review; test planning; hardware verification and debug; and hands-on laboratory troubleshooting. The role provides technical oversight across multiple module designs and functional disciplines, including Hardware, Logic, Mechanical, Software, Manufacturing, Test, and Systems Engineering. The position supports the full program life cycle from ATP through delivery, including environmental testing such as thermal cycling, thermal vacuum, vibration, and EMI/EMC. It leads technical matters at major program reviews and contributes to detailed reviews of FPGA, software, and mechanical designs. Limited local travel may be required. U.S. citizenship is required.
