We are seeking a Program Audit Liaison to serve as the client's front door for incoming audit and review requests. Audit requests arrive from the Defense Audit Office, the DoD Inspector General, the Naval Audit Service, the Government Accountability Office, and comparable review bodies. Each audit has its own scope, its own set of the right people to answer it, and its own clock. Without a single point of intake, requests scatter, deadlines surface late, and the same question can draw different answers from different offices. This role is the single point where those requests come in and the single place where their status is known. You receive the request, read it closely enough to understand what is being asked, route it to the right point of contact, and then stay with it through to closure. You hold the tracker, you run the recurring status, and you are the person who can answer "where does that one stand" without going to look. The judgment is the job. Some requests you own and close. Some need to be in front of a senior leader the same day for input, review, and submission. Knowing which is which, and being right about it, is what this role requires. The work is administrative and analytical rather than financial. You are not performing or auditing financial statements. You are making sure the right people see the right request in time to answer it well.
