The Carter Center (ETS) is seeking a temporary Program Assistant to provide administrative and logistical support for projects, initiatives, and programs within an NGO environment. This role will assist assigned managers and team members by maintaining calendars, composing communications, and responding to inquiries. The Program Assistant will also handle preparations, scheduling, logistics, and other requirements for domestic and international travel. Responsibilities include drafting contracts, budgets, and donor reports, processing financial documents, organizing meetings and events, and maintaining data management and filing for projects/programs. The role also involves serving as an administrator of work product with other departments, liaising with project consultants and field office staff, conducting research, and potentially supervising work-study students and volunteers. This position is temporary and offers the opportunity to work from home regularly, with the requirement to commute to The Carter Center on a flexible weekly schedule based on business needs. All non-exempt employees must reside within the state of Georgia.
