Keep the Team Running and Clients Connected as a Program Assistant for Our ACT Teams. As the Program Assistant for our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) teams, you’ll be a key part of a collaborative, community-based mental health team. From coordinating schedules and supporting documentation to welcoming clients and ensuring smooth communication, your role helps create a consistent, supportive experience for both staff and the individuals we serve. Working at the ACT hub, you’ll combine strong administrative skills with a people-centered approach, client communication, and front-line support for individuals experiencing mental health symptoms, all while helping keep a mission-driven team running smoothly. About ACT/ACT TAY/STEPS ACT (Assertive Community Treatment)/ACT TAY (Assertive Community Treatment for Transitional-Aged Youth)/STEPS (Shape, Teach, Evolve, Prepare, Support) programs are a way of providing many types of service to people with chronic mental health disorders. ACT/STEPS teams provide services directly to people in their community. People who access ACT/STEPS services receive the wrap-around psychiatric services, but within the comfort of their own home and community. ACT/STEPS team members are comprised of professionals in the areas of psychiatry, social work, nursing, substance use disorders, supported employment, and peer support so they have the skills they need to meet the many needs of the people they serve. The ACT/STEPS team provides these services 24 hours a day, seven days a week, each day of the year.
