About The Position

Canadian Hearing Services (CHS) has an opening for a Program Assistant II based in Toronto. Reporting to the Supervisor, Hearing Healthcare Client Accounts, the Program Assistant II is responsible for assisting the region by providing reception, administrative, and program support. The incumbent will provide information in response to public inquiries for all programs and cover other neighboring locations within GTA. This is a Temporary 10 month, full-time contract onsite position working Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. This posting is for an existing vacancy. Requirements

  • Post-secondary diploma in Office or Business Administration.
  • 2-3 years’ related experience, preferably in a Hearing Healthcare setting and/or medical office.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite, Internet, and database applications.
  • Intermediate accounting skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Sense of urgency.
  • Ability to handle a pressurized environment.
  • Ability to manage a varied workload with competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Legally eligible for employment in Canada.
