We are seeking a dependable and organized individual to assist Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources (PRCR) staff with program implementation, project development, and special projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, dependable, and enjoys helping others while contributing to programs and services that enhance the lives of the 55+ population. This position performs routine clerical and administrative duties, assists with assigned programs and projects, and handles specific tasks as directed by the supervisor. Work may involve interaction with the public, depending on the assignment. Driving may also be required. In order to support programs and events, preference will be given to candidates with availability during weekdays primarily in the morning-midday hours (8 AM- 2PM). Evening and weekend work will be occasional and only as needed. This is a part-time, non-benefited, year-round position, up to 20 hours a week, with a maximum of 999 hours per year.
