About The Position

- The Program Assistant I at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to ensure the efficient functioning of programs within the organization. This role is pivotal in assisting program managers and staff in delivering high-quality services to clients, maintaining program documentation, and facilitating communication within the team.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar administrative or program assistant role.
  • Experience working in a behavioral health or social services setting is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and handling correspondence.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software applications.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being able to work independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience working in a behavioral health or social services setting is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the coordination and implementation of program activities and events.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date program records and documentation.
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing correspondence.
  • Facilitate communication between program staff, clients, and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of program materials and communications.
  • Support data collection and reporting efforts to evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Handle general inquiries and provide information about programs and services.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure program goals and objectives are met.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall mission of the organization.
