About The Position

- The Program Assistant I at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for providing administrative and programmatic support to ensure the efficient operation of the department. This role involves assisting with the coordination of program activities, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the team in delivering high-quality behavioral health services. Key Responsibilities: - Provide administrative support to program staff, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and managing communications. - Assist in the coordination and implementation of program activities and events. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date program records and documentation. - Support the preparation of reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. - Respond to inquiries from clients, staff, and external partners in a professional and timely manner. - Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth operation of daily program functions. - Assist in the development and distribution of program materials and resources. - Perform other duties as assigned to support the goals and objectives of the program.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative or program support role.
  • Familiarity with data entry and management systems.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a behavioral health or social services environment is a plus.
