About The Position

As a project management specialist, you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. Many programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it’s imperative to keep the project on a productive path. That’s why we need an experienced project management specialist like you who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication. On our team, you’ll implement and maintain organizational programs in support of the Navy’s mission systems. You’ll work with assistant program managers to prepare acquisition documents while monitoring other aspects of cost, schedule, and performance. You’ll help with tactical planning using resources like Microsoft Office and Power BI tools, and regular interactions with SMEs, schedulers, or project analysts. This project will benefit from your experience as a program manager to deliver briefing material and other reporting with your eye for high quality and impactful content. Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience supporting Navy or DoD clients
  • 1+ years of experience supporting Navy or DoD Program Management Offices
  • Knowledge of DoD Adaptive Acquisition framework or DoD Instruction DoD 5000.02
  • Ability to grasp technical concepts for electronic warfare, information warfare, and signals intelligence
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience writing DoD acquisition documentation
  • Possession of strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Master’s degree
  • Project Management Professional, Agile, or SAFe Certification
