About The Position

GDIT is seeking a focused Program Analyst to support the US Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) and the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) and its subordinate commands' contract requirements. The ideal candidate will be a talented and experienced individual who will be part of the Program Management Organization (PMO) on a large, complex global enterprise operations and support contract. This role will assist the Program Manager with the day-to-day performance of scope, schedule, and cost under the program, driving operational and financial efficiency and execution excellence. The Program Analyst will partner with the Program Manager, Operations Manager, Project Managers, and functional support staff to achieve program success. This position is responsible and accountable for all PMO business and reports directly to the Program Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 5+ years experience leading and managing programs, business management, and/or project controls on programs/organization of significance.
  • Ability and flexibility to actively engage with customers and employees including travel to all program and customer locations.
  • Experience across all contracts types, including Firm Fixed Price, Fixed Unit Price, Cost Plus Fixed Fee and Cost Reimbursable.
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • US Citizenship Required

Responsibilities

  • Supports the PM with programmatic administration and the development, collection, and delivery of TOR deliverables including personnel accountability, manpower reporting, travel related administration, travel authorization requests, and trip reports.
  • Facilitates program deliverables, program analysis, subcontractor management, and travel coordination.
  • Supports deployment of personnel to CONUS locations.
  • Plans, coordinates, and executes deployment supporting activities in accordance with project requirements and schedules.
  • Remains informed of a wide range of concepts, principles, practices, procedures, regulations, and laws applicable to contractor deployment policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Provides detailed analyses of complex functions and work processes and applies analytical and evaluative techniques and communications skills to resolve issues.
  • Constructs data, analyzes and evaluates facts, draws conclusions, devises solutions to problems, and identifies and reports changes and trends.
  • Plans and coordinates deployment-related travel and updates applicable management systems to ensure applicable tracking system updates.
  • Manages compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR) for defense-related technology, services, and software.
  • Responsible for conducting risk assessments, implementing internal controls, and managing licensing related to export/import and ITAR requirements.
  • Manages daily export operations, jurisdiction, and classification determinations.
