About The Position

SimVentions is looking for a highly experienced Project Analyst to provide onsite direct support to a government project. The Project Analyst will be directly supporting a classified project team in managing the day-day administrative, logistical, and security related tasking and addressing concerns with various Dahlgren team and project Sponsor stakeholders. This position requires sitting in a SCIF zone with the team. Local travel for meetings is rare for this position unless required to address any Sponsor concerns. Coordination for picking up/dropping off items from Sponsor office may require travel in the local Virginia, Maryland, and Washington D.C. area, subject to team unavailability or urgency. The overarching duties of this position will be to work to support the government project team, stakeholders, and sponsors. This will support in many areas the ability to define and complete tasking for day to day project progress and milestones. On a day to day basis, the Project Analyst will be supporting the team in managing the day-to-day administrative, logistics, and security related tasking and addressing concerns with various Dahlgren and Sponsor stakeholders regarding Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) visitors and logs, physical assets management and audits, shipping coordination for transferring equipment, sensitive data inventory tracking, and coordinating with visitors and facilities -- including foreign visitors. Respond to assigned data calls and audits as needed. Maintain appointment letter(s) for data migration and transfers per local policies and guidance. Develop Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the team as needed for assigned tasking.

Requirements

  • Experience with supporting multiple projects and a security intensive work environment.
  • Experience with logistics and inventory management support.
  • Experience with addressing security concerns of a SCIF zone; and, with data classification and migration policies.
  • Familiarity with cyber-security related policies, guidance, and addressing team concerns.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related web tools.
  • Proficiency in resourcefulness, troubleshooting, & problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail especially with inventory, communications, and secure facility management.
