About The Position

Support purchasing, program management, and bookkeeping functions. Track data concerning current and future government contracts. Assists with and handles activities that keep the contract flowing. Requests quotes, issues purchase orders, and organizes shipping. Utilizes appropriate tools to plan project timelines, tasks, milestones, and deadlines. Assisting in managing daily operations and planning the use of materials within contract. Maintain relationships with subcontractors and customers. Monitors task completion status to identify at risk project tasks and to develop mitigation plans. Tasks Assist purchasing, program management, and bookkeeping and continually learn more of purchasing to assist and possibly run a program. Assist with Quality including updates to company's ISO certification, AS certification, ITAR registration, and GSA Schedule. Direct and coordinate activities of businesses or departments concerned with the production, pricing, sales, or distribution of products. Review sales and activity reports and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement. Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures, conferring with organization officials and staff members as necessary. Assist in activities directly related to making products or providing services. Maintain relationships with customers and subcontractors and give them timely information about pricing, shipping, and other requirements. Assist in tasks relating to projects and customers. Request quotes and updates on RFQs.
