About The Position

CGI Federal is seeking a highly skilled Program Analyst to support a wide range of program and project management activities in support of our NASA CPSS contract. This role provides critical expertise across cost estimating, scheduling, resource management, risk management, and integrated reporting. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate closely with project managers and senior leadership. This position is located in Huntsville, AL.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience
  • BS/BA
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic understanding of EIA-748 standard earned value management (EVM) principles.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other related certifications desirable
  • Membership with the Project Management Institute (PMI) and/or the College of Performance Management (CPM) a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive support for PP&C activities, including program management, cost estimating, resource planning, scheduling, and risk analysis.
  • Support development of integrated reporting requirements that incorporate technical, cost, schedule, and risk data.
  • Conduct “what-if” scenario analyses, develop work around plans, and deliver data-driven recommendations.
  • Participate in project and organizational meetings, reviews, and prepare high-quality presentations as needed.
  • Assist program and project managers with the development, updates, and execution of project management documentation, including project plans, CONOPS, configuration management plans, safety plans, and risk management plans.
  • Provide recommendations to support business planning and strategic planning activities.
  • Identify, analyze, and track resource commitments, requirements, and schedule milestones.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with project managers and key stakeholders to ensure integrated cost, schedule, and risk assessments.
  • Support PP&C leadership with expert analysis, recommendations, and innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Provide technical resource management, including budget and workforce analysis to support project execution.
  • Support PP&C formulation and integration efforts for OCOMM's annual Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) cycle.
  • Review financial and labor reports for accuracy; analyze cost variances and recommend corrective actions to maintain budget alignment.
  • Develop monthly financial data, integrated reports, and budget tracking tools to improve cost control and resolve discrepancies.
