The DVP aims to reduce violence in Oakland by providing direct services, funding, and coordinating a network of violence prevention and intervention programs. This Program Analyst III, specialized in Violence Prevention, will serve as a Violence Prevention Liaison, supporting Oakland's focused deterrence work. The role involves program leadership, staff supervision, community engagement, stakeholder coordination, outreach, and program monitoring to support interventions for individuals at the highest risk for violence. The ideal candidate is experienced in violence prevention, deeply connected to Oakland, skilled in relentless outreach to hard-to-reach individuals, a strong communicator, collaborative, organized, accountable, and adaptable to shifting demands.
