About The Position

The Department of Banking and Securities is seeking a motivated Program Analyst 1 who enjoys working with data, people, and new ideas. This position performs analytical, administrative, and program support work to the Department of Banking and Securities Financial Education, Protection, and Outreach Office. This role offers a chance to help strengthen financial education efforts across the state. You will grow your skills while contributing to programs that protect and inform consumers. Requirements

  • One year of paraprofessional analytical experience; or An equivalent combination of experience and training
  • Possession of a valid driver's license which is not under suspension.
  • Federally compliant identification such as a U.S. Passport, REAL ID, or Military ID at the time of conditional job offer.
  • Must meet the PA residency requirement.
  • Must be able to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate investor education programs and assess how well goals and objectives are met
  • Coordinate outreach initiatives and recommend new ideas based on program needs
  • Gather information through surveys, research, and system queries to support program evaluation
  • Create infographics, graphs, and reports that communicate trends and findings
  • Analyze information to recommend improvements in investor education program delivery
  • Deliver presentations and respond to public inquiries related to investor education
