About The Position
The Program Aid/Specialist will plan, implement, facilitate, and supervise activities and programs at the Saluda River Academy of the Arts. This role promotes the safety of members and the quality of programs. The position is part-time, working Monday through Friday between 2:00 PM and 6:30 PM, for 3-4 hours a day, from August to May, with varying summer hours. The hourly rate is $12.50.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or college degree
- 6 months to 2 years program delivery experience
- Ability to deal effectively with staff, youth, parents, local community leaders, schools and churches
- Demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of youth development
- Understand the Clubs' philosophy, vision and goals
- Ability to establish and cultivate positive relationships with youth
- Mandatory First Aid/CPR certification
- Speaking skills
- Writing skills
- Knowledge of the computer
