About The Position

Hajoca Corporation is seeking a Profit Center Manager for its Dahl Albuquerque location. This role is responsible for running a Profit Center as if it were a small business, overseeing all business operations including warehouse, counter, sales office, and potentially a showroom. The Profit Center Manager is accountable for sustaining consistent profitability, achieving sales and market share goals, and managing a team. The company emphasizes a decentralized business philosophy where each location operates with a customized approach to its local market. This position offers the opportunity to drive profits, expand market share, and identify new markets.

Requirements

College degree or equivalent industry experience
5+ years of sales and service experience
1+ year of leadership experience
Able to drive for company business.
Be at least 18 years old.
Possess a proper and valid driver’s license.
Have a driving record that meets the criteria for being an Authorized Driver in accordance with Company policy.
Effectively use Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Be able to learn and operate the computer related systems used for business operations.
Be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

Plan, direct, and lead all business operations at the Profit Center.
Achieve sales, gross profit, market share, and profit sharing goals through the recruitment, development, training, coaching, evaluation, and management of the Profit Center team.
Set clear performance expectations and goals for teammates and conduct regular performance evaluations.
Determine targeted customer account potential, establish sales goals for those accounts, and hold salespeople accountable.
Achieve upper quartile performance in key indicators: Gross Profit %, Net Salaries Ratio, Occupancy Ratio, Return on Investment, Gross Profit per Employee, and Profit Sharing per Employee.
Analyze financial reports and implement strategies to increase sales and margins, improve productivity, and manage expenses and assets.
Ensure the Profit Center meets or exceeds customer service expectations.
Build relationships in the community to understand the marketplace, increase market share, and identify new markets.
Conduct all business in accordance with Company policy and procedures.
Maintain and insist upon a safe working environment in accordance with Company policy and procedures.
Safeguard and maintain all Profit Center assets – buildings, fleet, equipment, inventory, and receivables.
Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
