About The Position

The University of Ottawa is seeking to fill a Professor position for the Fall 2026 academic period. This role involves teaching "Analyse quantitative des données en sciences de la santé: variables continues" (Quantitative analysis of data in health sciences: continuous variables). The course covers the introduction to the analysis of continuous variables, applying descriptive and inferential statistics to integrative health data (biosciences, behavioral, and clinical). It also involves using computer applications for data analysis, management, and presentation, with a focus on probability, linear regression, ANOVA, and non-parametric methods. The position includes both laboratory and lecture components. Requirements

  • Master's degree, specialization in health sciences (or equivalent), statistics, or quantitative methodologies.
  • University-level teaching experience.
  • Training in health statistics.
  • Training in the use of statistical software.
  • Training in health research.
