About The Position

The University of Louisville, Department of Radiology, Body Imaging Section, is seeking a BC/BE, fellowship-trained or experienced academic radiologist and will be filled at the Assistant/Associate/Professor (open rank) level on a full-time basis with rank commensurate with experience. The Body Imaging section covers a busy workload of inpatient and outpatient cross-sectional and radiographic imaging. Imaging is concentrated in trauma, oncology, inpatient and routine outpatient exams. We cover a diverse group of facilities, including a level one trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, a transplant center, and community hospitals.

Requirements

  • BC/BE, fellowship-trained or experienced academic radiologist
  • Medical Degree or equivalent
  • Eligibility for Kentucky Medical License
  • ABR certified or eligible

Nice To Haves

  • Strong research record of publications or other evidence of scholarly activity.

Responsibilities

  • Supervision and training of radiology residents, fellows, and medical students.
  • Covering a busy workload of inpatient and outpatient cross-sectional and radiographic imaging.
  • Imaging concentrated in trauma, oncology, inpatient and routine outpatient exams.
  • Multidisciplinary conferences.
  • Quality and Safety Conferences.
