About The Position
Florida SouthWestern State College is seeking a Professor of Political Science to join their faculty. The School of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (SoAHSS) supports all degree and certificate programs, offering high-quality, accessible, and affordable teaching and learning experiences. The SoAHSS prepares students to achieve general education competencies and develop skills in effective communication, critical thinking, technology use, and scientific principles. The curriculum promotes awareness of human complexities and encourages exploration of history, society, and culture from multiple perspectives, preparing students for the workforce, community, and global challenges. Requirements
- Doctoral or master's degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education in Political Science or International Relations (a minimum of 18 graduate semester credit hours in the teaching discipline).
- Demonstrated ability to use technology in creating and delivering course content.
- Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of the subject area to be taught.
- Expertise and/or teaching experience in American government and politics.
Responsibilities
