About The Position

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) School of Dental Medicine is seeking applications to fill two full-time, 12-month, non-tenure-track Faculty-In-Residence positions in Clinical Sciences (Endodontics). Responsibilities include managing the pre-doctoral endodontic curriculum, encompassing pre-clinical and clinical endodontic courses. The role also involves supervising and delivering patient care in both a general dentistry clinical setting and a specialty clinic. Academic and clinical support for Advanced Education programs in General Practice Residency, Pediatric Dentistry, and Orthodontics is also required. There is an opportunity for intramural faculty practice or extramural private practice.

Requirements

• D.M.D. or D.D.S. degree from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
• Completion of a specialty program in Endodontics from a CODA approved dental school.
• Eligibility for licensure in Nevada.
• Licensure in Nevada requires graduation from a CODA approved dental school in the United States or Canada.
• Credentials must be obtained prior to the start date.

Nice To Haves

• Three years of experience in a dental teaching environment.
• Board certification in Endodontics is highly desirable.

Responsibilities
