About The Position

The Department of Chemical & Materials Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Alberta is seeking applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in Materials Processing for Sustainability. This position is part of the University of Alberta’s priority to build a diverse faculty in strategic research areas; thus, candidates from traditionally underrepresented and equity-deserving groups are strongly encouraged to apply. The candidate is expected to develop a grant-funded research program in this area and to teach courses including materials science, mechanical properties, and manufacturing. This role will be in the Department of Chemical & Materials Engineering. Applicants who value working across disciplinary boundaries, within and outside engineering, as well as with communities and industry, are strongly encouraged to apply.
