Part Time Professional Tutor
About The Position
Dominican University New York seeks a Professional Tutor & Academic Skills Specialist to support students’ reading, writing, and research skills. This part-time, in-person role is for 25 hours per week during the Fall and Spring semesters in the Academic Success Center. The position reports to the Director for assigned duties. The salary range is $30–$32 per hour. Dominican University New York is a private, not-for-profit institution founded by the Dominican Sisters of Blauvelt. Requirements
- Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.

Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one and small-group tutoring sessions.
- Design and deliver academic programming, such as study skills and APA workshops.
- Support students in developing academic skills and achieving their goals.
- Understand and support the services available through the Academic Success Center.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director.
