About The Position

A growing Survey team in Charleston and Beckly, WV is seeking a Licensed Professional Surveyor to lead survey operations and support a wide range of public and private sector projects. This role provides leadership across field crews and technical staff, drives project delivery, and supports business development efforts that strengthen long term client relationships.

Requirements

• Active Professional Surveyor (PS) license in the State of West Virginia
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar leadership or project management capacity
• Proven ability to lead teams and provide mentorship
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize effectively based on project scope and deadlines
• High productivity working both independently and collaboratively

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of the surveying and geomatics function, including oversight of field crews and technical staff
• Manage survey and geomatics projects for public and private clients
• Identify and pursue business development opportunities with new and existing clients
• Maintain communication with internal leadership to support department success and sustainability
• Plan, organize, supervise, and mentor survey crews, technicians, and internal team members
• Coordinate assignments that support project management, scheduling, and deadline adherence
