About The Position

UPMC Presbyterian, a Magnet-designated hospital, is seeking full-time Registered Nurses to join our Adult Acute Care Units. As the largest group admitting patients to the general medicine service at UPMC Presbyterian/Montefiore, we provide expert, compassionate care to patients of all ages facing a wide array of medical conditions. The 11 South (11S) unit is an 18-bed, all-private-room adult care unit offering a diverse patient population, including Hepatology, Endocrinology, Pulmonary, and Infectious Diseases. This unit has a teaching-focused environment, ideal for graduate nurses or those looking to expand their inpatient experience, and offers flexible work schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• RN license or Temporary Practice Permit
• BLS/CPR (AHA standard) within 30 days
• ACLS certification
• Act 34 Criminal Clearance
• Licensure exam within 4 months of hire or they will be terminated or demoted from the GN position, at the discretion of the BU
