About The Position

As part of the Kägwerks Mission Solutions team, the Professional Services Engineer (PSE) plays a critical role in delivering post-sales technical support and service outcomes directly to customers. This role is focused on hands-on execution — deploying systems, supporting operators, and ensuring Kägwerks solutions perform reliably in demanding operational environments. The Professional Services Engineer is a highly customer-facing role that combines technical capability with strong service delivery and professionalism. Success in this role may come from solving technical problems in the field, building trusted customer relationships, or both. The ideal candidate is dependable, adaptable, and comfortable working directly with customers in operational settings while following defined procedures and escalation paths.

Requirements

  • You have experience in technical support, field service, or professional services roles and are motivated by working directly with customers in operational environments.
  • You take pride in following procedures accurately while still thinking critically to resolve issues and support mission success.
  • You bring a reliable, service-oriented mindset and a solid foundation in networking, software systems, and technical troubleshooting.
  • You are comfortable provisioning systems, installing software, validating configurations, and interpreting technical documentation.
  • U.S. citizenship is required and the successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting defence, security, or mission-oriented technologies in real-world environments is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on post-sales technical support to customers, including troubleshooting, configuration, and issue resolution
  • Support onsite customer activities including system setup, provisioning, training assistance, and operational support
  • Execute defined technical procedures, workflows, and resolution paths provided by Engineering and Mission Solutions teams
  • Represent Kägwerks professionally and reliably during all customer interactions
  • Capture field feedback, operational observations, and potential issues and communicate them back to the broader organisation
  • Work closely with the Customer Success Manager, Engineering, and Solutions Engineering to deliver consistent, high-quality service outcomes
