About The Position

This role is well suited to an ambitious professional looking for the next step in their career. As an Advisory Services Commodity Manager, you will be responsible for the total Purchasing Volume (PVO) of assigned (Sub) Commodities, including Management Consulting, Legal Services, Corporate Audit, Process Audit & Certification, and Tax and Finance Consulting. You will develop and implement strategies to achieve optimum conditions and savings through collaborative, targeted activities to increase company profit. This involves communicating strategies to ensure long-term, cost-efficient supply of materials and services, negotiating frame contracts, and identifying procurement risks, opportunities, and market forces to avoid potential damage or exploit potential opportunities through risk and change management. Additionally, you will perform Supplier Management, particularly Supplier Development, to obtain and develop the best suppliers and ensure an optimum supply chain.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of procurement experience required.
  • Willing to travel up to 20%
  • Deep professional know-how and experience in Strategic Procurement roles.
  • Solid professional judgment and problem-solving competence. Improves existing processes and approaches.
  • Great interpersonal skills needed to maintain Stakeholder and supplier relationships. Provide coaching and education on Procurement processes as needed.
  • Ability to collaborate and work both independently and as a team.
  • Strong analytical skills required.
  • Good PC skills (MS Office software like Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)
  • Willingness to travel and flexibility, including short-term international travel, is expected
