Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age or older
Must be available for on-call roles
Flexible in supporting available shifts
Mornings, Mid-day, overnight, and weekend availability required
Available for 2 shifts, 4-5 days a week
High school degree or equivalent
Non-Commissioned Security License required
Professional demeanor and appearance
Basic computer skills
Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Minimum of one year of customer service experience
Minimum of one year of security experience
Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)
This position will require occasional crawling, crouching, climbing of stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping and walking for extended periods of time

Responsibilities

Perform foot or vehicle patrols, detecting suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, theft, or other criminal activity.
Greet truck drivers and guests with a friendly demeanor, check identification, log visitor vehicles, announce visitors, and control access to the property.
Acknowledge and greet all guests with courtesy and urgency, provide customer service, manage access control, monitor CCTV camera systems, announce visitors, and distribute packages.
Scan tags on employee devices and verify IMEI numbers against provided documentation for approved devices.
Monitor trash dump for theft attempts, open and close dock doors, track outbound trucks, count pallets for inbound trucks, and monitor open dock doors during loading.
Count pallets for inbound trucks, monitor special projects during peak season, send and receive emails, type truck information, and monitor open dock doors.
Check devices in and out using a metal detector, ensuring only approved devices with stickers or paperwork are allowed, and monitor the X-Ray machine to ensure all visitors clear and no prohibited items enter the building.
Track all high-value loads via computer software.
