About The Position

RCO Pet Care is seeking a reliable and dedicated morning person to join their growing team. This role focuses on providing essential pet care services during the crucial 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM window, ensuring dogs are walked, cats are fed, and clients are confident their pets are well-cared for at the start of the day. The ideal candidate genuinely loves animals, understands the responsibility involved in professional pet care, can follow detailed instructions, provide engaging photo updates, and remain calm during challenging pet behaviors.

Requirements

• Consistent AM availability starting at 7:00 AM (or earlier) through at least 10:00 AM, most weekdays.
• Own reliable transportation.
• Ability to consistently service clients in Oxford, Beacon Falls, Seymour, and nearby towns.
• Trustworthy, communicative, and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable working independently.
• Must be part of a supportive, drama-free team.

Nice To Haves

• Love sending photo updates.
• Ability to handle both large and small pets.
• Highly conscientious and detail-oriented (e.g., triple-checking tasks).

Responsibilities

• Provide pet care services during the morning window (7:00 AM - 10:00 AM).
• Ensure dogs are walked and cats are fed.
• Follow detailed instructions from clients.
• Send photo updates of pets to clients.
• Handle various pet temperaments, including energetic or challenging ones.
• Travel between client homes in Oxford, Beacon Falls, Seymour, and surrounding towns.
