About The Position

Mountaineer Employment Solutions is now hiring an experienced Professional Painter for a direct hire opportunity with a reputable local company. We are seeking dependable, detail-oriented candidates with previous interior and exterior painting experience who take pride in producing high-quality work.

Requirements

Previous professional painting experience required
Knowledge of paint types, finishes, and application methods
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work at heights
Familiarity with industry tools such as rollers, spray guns, ladders, and scaffolding
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Clean, professional appearance
Must be punctual and dependable
Must pass background check
Must pass drug screening

Nice To Haves

Experience using spray guns preferred
High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

Perform interior and exterior painting on residential and/or commercial properties
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming as needed
Apply paints, stains, and finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
Operate spray guns for larger painting projects
Clean and maintain all tools and equipment, including brushes and spray guns
Follow safety procedures while working on ladders, scaffolding, and elevated surfaces
Ensure projects are completed neatly, efficiently, and to customer standards
