Professional Liability Partner
About The Position
The Los Angeles office of Kaufman Dolowich, a full-service National Law firm with more than 250 attorneys across 16 offices and over 25 practice areas, is actively seeking a Professional Liability Partner to join their growing practice group. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated attorney with a strong background in labor and employment defense litigation to step into a leadership role within a nationally recognized firm. The ideal candidate will bring strategic litigation experience, strong leadership and mentoring capabilities, and a commitment to exceptional client service. Portable business will be considered but is not required.
Requirements
- Admission to the California State Bar required
- 10+ years of professional liability defense experience
- Strong litigation, leadership, client management, and business development skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience representing insurers and/or insured professionals preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead, expand and oversee the Professional Liability practice
- Handle complex defense matters through all phases of litigation
- Develop and maintain relationships with insurers, insured professionals, brokers, and clients
- Mentor and supervise associates and business professionals
- Drive business development, marketing, and cross-selling initiatives
- Collaborate with firm leadership and related practice groups on strategic growth opportunities
