About The Position

Spaceco is seeking a Land Surveyor to support the planning, design, and technical execution of projects. This middle to senior-level role is designed for an experienced professional with strong project management and client relationship skills. You will lead and oversee survey teams, manage project schedules and budgets, ensure accurate delivery of survey services, support company initiatives and development efforts, and mentor staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Land Surveying or Engineering.
  • 5 - 15 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of surveying principles, standards, practices, and procedures.
  • Ability to prepare surveys, correspondence, and technical documents.
  • Proficiency in evaluation and application of survey methods in complex project situations.
  • Ability to interpret complex plans, maps, and legal regulations.
  • Project management, organizational, and multi-tasking talents.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with colleagues, clients, and supervisors.
  • Registered Professional Land Surveyor

Responsibilities

  • Manage survey projects from start to finish.
  • Assign work and control workloads.
  • Lead and supervise field crews, project teams, and office colleagues.
  • Conduct client meetings and communicate project progress.
  • Manage project budgets, contracts, schedules, and change orders.
  • Serve as the primary client contact and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Mentor and direct survey staff.
  • Oversee deed, title, and record research.
  • Prepare proposals, estimates, and pricing.
  • Monitor project profitability, billing, work-in-progress, and accounts receivable.
  • Support business development initiatives.
  • Communicate with supervisors regarding workload, schedule changes, or scope adjustments.
  • Ensure projects meet company standards.
