About The Position

As a Professional Surveyor/Principal with Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in our Cincinnati, OH office, you’ll work alongside Senior Managers and Executives to grow and support an established survey practice. You'll oversee a wide range of project types including Existing Conditions and Topographic Surveys, Boundary and ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, Utility and Route Surveys, Subdivisions and Statutory Plats, Construction layout and As-Built Surveys. This leadership role is ideal for someone passionate about mentoring, team development, and operational excellence, while also contributing to business development efforts. Requirements

Professional Land Surveyor registration (PLS) or ability to obtain licensure with having SIT
10+ years of professional surveying experience
Experience leading business development and client management efforts
Experience leading and mentoring staff

Nice To Haves

Experience working within a multidisciplinary consulting practice
Network of existing contacts is a plus

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of surveyors and technicians, fostering professional growth and a collaborative culture
Oversee project quality and safety standards, ensuring accurate deliverables and efficient work-flows
Recruit and develop top talent to strengthen the practice and support long-term growth
Collaborate with the current survey leadership team and other managers to identify new opportunities and expand services
Support business development efforts through client engagement and integrated solutions
