About The Position
This position is for highly organized and customer centric independent contractors who have a passion for delivering outstanding results. Previous handyman experience is an asset, but not required - basic construction skills are necessary. This is a great opportunity to develop alongside a fast growing company. House Doctors is a professional handyman service company specializing in both home repairs and full remodel jobs in St Charles county and West county areas. We are looking for energetic and friendly people who enjoy working on variety of home repair and full remodel projects such as carpentry, drywall, painting, light plumbing and electrical, flooring, decks, fence, small siding repairs, bath and kitchen remodels, etc.
Requirements
- 5 to 10+ years of home repair and remodel field experience
- Hands on with a knowledge of the principles, techniques, equipment, and supplies used in the residential construction, repair and remodel industries
- Ability to learn and operate some basic computer programs and systems
- Friendly personality and committed to great customer service
- A strong work ethic and highly dependable
- Able to do physical labor work including bending, lifting (50+ lbs), and handling tools
- Driver's license is required

- Previous handyman experience is an asset

Responsibilities
- Working with home owners to provide exceptional customer service
- Completing various handyman and remodel jobs such as drywall, carpentry, flooring, painting, electrical and plumbing, etc.
- Planning and managing the job site
- Organizing and managing materials and equipment for the jobs
- Invoicing and payment completion for every job
- Cleaning the interior and exterior of the company vehicle
- Assisting in marketing and sales on and around the job sites
- Representing House Doctors in the local community and networking with potential customers as needs arise
