About The Position

Trusted Shops is a company that develops SaaS solutions for over 40 million users and 30,000 businesses across Europe. Their product suite includes the Trustmark, Buyer Protection, and the eTrusted experience feedback platform, all contributing to a 25-year mission of enabling trust in the digital age. The Product Development department is structured into 15 cross-functional Product Teams across 3 Product Domains (Consumer, Business, and Platform), operating in an agile environment. The company is seeking two Professional Fullstack Engineers (f/m/d) to join the Business Domain. These engineers will work in a creative, fast-changing environment, focusing on improving user experience, shipping features, solving technical challenges, and continuous professional growth. As part of a cross-functional team including Engineers, Product Managers, Agile Coaches, QA, and UX specialists, the role involves driving the development of either the Questionnaire or Legal Services products. The Questionnaire Team focuses on building tools for online businesses to collect service and product reviews for better customer insights and engagement. The Legal Tech Services Team works on developing legal products that offer online shops legal protection, compliant legal texts, and expert support to manage legal disputes.

Requirements

3+ years of experience as a Fullstack Engineer.
Strong focus on TypeScript and modern full-stack development.
Experience with React or Next.js, building scalable and user-friendly applications.
Solid understanding of cloud environments, e.g. AWS (Lambda) and container-based systems like ECS.
Practical experience with AI-assisted development (e.g. LLMs or agents), including good judgment on when and how to use these tools and how to validate outputs before production.
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
Strong communication skills in English.
A goal-oriented, collaborative mindset with respect for teammates.
Curiosity and motivation to learn, grow, and help advance the company's mission.

Nice To Haves

Experience with React and/or Next.js is a plus.
Experience with any major cloud provider (AWS is used, but others are welcome).
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform is a bonus.
German language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

Building tools that help online businesses collect valuable service and product reviews, enabling better customer insights and stronger user engagement (Questionnaire Team).
Developing legal products, providing online shops with reliable legal protection, compliant legal texts, and expert support to help prevent and manage legal disputes (Legal Tech Services Team).
Working across the full stack with a strong focus on TypeScript.
Actively using AI-assisted engineering tools or being eager to start, and understanding how Agentic Engineering impacts software development.
Owning the code that goes to production, including review, validation, and commitment.
Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred, but experience with any major cloud provider is welcome).
Shepherding changes through every stage until they go live in production, following the "You build it, you own it" philosophy.
Involvement in monitoring and automating aspects of the infrastructure.
