About The Position

Jones Petrie Rafinski (JPR), a multi-disciplined architecture and engineering services firm, is seeking a Licensed Civil Engineer with at least five years of experience in industrial and commercial site design. The role focuses on designing efficient, buildable solutions and collaborating with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary team members to deliver projects. The engineer will lead site design projects from concept through construction, develop and review plans for grading, utilities, stormwater management, and erosion control, and coordinate with clients, municipalities, and other design disciplines. The position also prepares technical reports, cost estimates, and permit applications; mentors junior engineers and CAD technicians; and supports business development through proposal preparation and client presentations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial or commercial site design.
Strong understanding of local, state, and federal permitting processes.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Professional Engineer (PE) license is desired.
Proficiency with civil design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage industrial and commercial site design projects from concept through construction.
