About The Position

HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting a seasoned, highly skilled Professional Engineer (PE) to join one of our valued client partners. We are seeking an accomplished engineering professional who combines technical expertise, operational leadership, project oversight, and team development capabilities. This opportunity is ideal for a licensed Professional Engineer who wants to play a critical leadership role overseeing engineering operations, guiding technical decisions, mentoring future engineering talent, and helping drive long-term organizational success. The successful candidate will serve as a key decision-maker responsible for engineering integrity, project execution, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction. The Professional Engineer (PE) will provide technical leadership and engineering oversight while managing multiple projects, field activities, operational initiatives, and team development efforts. This position requires a hands-on leader capable of balancing engineering excellence with operational accountability.

Requirements

  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) License.
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of engineering experience.
  • Strong experience evaluating structural systems and engineering conditions.
  • Ability to independently develop, review, and approve engineering reports and designs.
  • Experience supervising technical personnel and project activities.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to conduct site inspections and field evaluations.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • No current or future visa sponsorship requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting independent evaluations of residential and commercial structural conditions.
  • Developing, reviewing, stamping, and approving engineering reports and repair recommendations.
  • Serving as the primary engineering authority for technical decisions and project direction.
  • Providing oversight of engineering standards, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Supervising Engineers-in-Training (EITs), inspectors, and technical staff.
  • Managing active projects from evaluation through completion.
  • Performing site inspections and field assessments as required.
  • Supporting scheduling, project coordination, and operational planning activities.
  • Overseeing equipment utilization, purchasing activities, and resource allocation.
  • Monitoring quality control standards across engineering and field operations.
  • Collaborating with leadership to improve operational efficiency and project delivery.
  • Providing leadership across engineering, field, and office functions.
