Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (or a related field).
  • 2-5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing.
  • Ability to work in various outdoor conditions and terrains associated with construction projects.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • A drive for success and a passion for innovative engineering solutions.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Experience managing client relationships and vendor coordination.
  • Familiarity with project management, including budget creation and maintenance.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in Oklahoma, or the ability to obtain it within 6–12 months.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality geotechnical engineering services to our clients, ensuring safety, excellence, and timely project execution.
  • Work on diverse projects, including building foundations, bridges, slope stabilization, retaining walls, and pavement design.
  • Prepare geotechnical reports, including maps, drawings, aerial photographs, and soil boring logs.
  • Develop field exploration, sampling, and material testing plans to address specific project needs.
  • Prepare cost estimates for geotechnical and materials testing projects.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Support the business development process by identifying and pursuing new client opportunities.
  • Participate in project management activities, including tracking scope, schedule, quality, and budget.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff, contributing to a collaborative team culture.
