About The Position

McDougall Energy is seeking skilled and safety-focused individuals to fill the position of Seasonal DZ Professional Delivery Driver in St. Thomas (nights). This role involves the safe transportation of products while maintaining a high standard of customer service. Safety is a top priority, and drivers are expected to demonstrate safe driving practices and professional conduct on the roads and when interacting with customers. Requirements

• Minimum 2-year driving experience with a valid DZ license
• Strong interpersonal skills and the desire to be a team player
• The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Numeric ability and strong problem-solving skills
• Willingness to travel
• Ability to work a continental night schedule (2-3-2), daily shift 6 pm to 6:30 am
• Must be able to pass pre- and random drug & alcohol testing
• Must have a safety and compliance mindset

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the safe delivery of bulk product to our client’s fleet, heavy equipment, generators, or bulk tanks within a designated area
• Inventory control of bulk product on truck
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and accurately complete related documentation
• Providing exceptional customer service
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions to meet our customer needs
• Use a handheld computer device to monitor the flow of fuel being input and disposed from the truck
