Professional Delivery Driver
About The Position
McDougall Energy is looking for a skilled and safety-focused individual to fill the position of Professional Delivery Driver, to join our Ottawa operation. This position will be a night shift. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe transportation of products while upholding a high standard of customer service. Safety is paramount, and we expect our drivers to demonstrate safe driving practices and professional conduct on the roads and when interacting with customers. Requirements
- Minimum 2-years driving experience with a valid DZ license
- Strong interpersonal skills and the desire to be a team player
- The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Numeric ability and strong problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel
- Ability to work a day shift or night shift
- Must have a safety and compliance mindset
Responsibilities
- Ensuring the safe delivery of bulk product to our client’s fleet, heavy equipment, generators, or bulk tanks within a designated area
- Inventory control of bulk product on truck
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and accurately complete related documentation
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions to meet our customer needs
- Use a handheld computer device to monitor the flow of fuel being input and disposed from the truck
