This Professional Buyer role is for a distributor and involves overseeing and performing the purchasing function for HVAC products, including equipment, parts, and accessories. The Buyer will be responsible for purchasing and managing merchandise, commodities, and products for resale, ensuring a 95%+ service level and adherence to budget, costs, deadlines, quality, and safety standards. The position also involves promoting a safe and positive work environment and is based in Dayton, OH, supporting the 2J Supply business unit.

Responsibilities

Oversees and performs the purchasing function directly related to HVAC products including equipment, parts, and accessories
Purchase and manage merchandise, commodities, and products for resale
Ensure 95%+ service level and all purchasing-related duties are performed within budget, costs, deadline, quality and safety standards
Strives to maintain a climate that promotes a safe and positive work environment
