About The Position

This posting is for a Regular Part-Time Professor position for the course ADM4746A, "L'audit dans un environnement numérique" (Auditing in a Digital Environment), during the Fall 2026 academic period at the Telfer School of Management. The course will cover information technologies and the digital environment affecting external and internal auditors, IT-related risks, data analysis in auditing, automated data entry and real-time information, distributed ledgers, blockchain, cryptocurrencies, the Internet of Things, cloud computing, system reliability, confidentiality, security, integrity, availability, control frameworks, strategic watch, artificial intelligence, machine learning, the systems lifecycle, informational assets, and intellectual property. Requirements

  • Possess an MBA or a Master's degree (preferably a Doctorate) in accounting information systems auditing.
  • Demonstrate recent professional experience in the course's field.
  • Hold a professional designation in finance (CA, CGA, or CMA).
  • Hold a specialist designation (CIA, CA-IFA, etc.).
  • Be proficient in French (language of instruction).

Nice To Haves

  • Doctorate in accounting information systems auditing.
  • Competence in a second language (Passive).

Responsibilities

  • Teach the course "L'audit dans un environnement numérique" (ADM4746A).
  • Deliver the course in person on Wednesdays from 19:00 to 22:00.
  • Potentially adapt teaching mode due to health reasons or other factors.
  • Complete all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.
