About The Position

An established national law firm seeks a mid-level litigation associate with experience in product liability or business litigation. The practice defends manufacturers in complex litigation, with a significant focus on pharmaceuticals, medical devices, mass torts, and multidistrdit litigation (MDL). Its work involves coordinated defense strategies, substantial discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation in state and federal courts.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of law firm experience in business litigation, product liability, or both
• Hands-on experience taking depositions and appearing at court hearings
• Excellent legal writing skills and strong academic credentials
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing deadlines
• Florida Bar admission required

Responsibilities

• Defense of pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers in complex product liability matters
• National coordination of mass tort and multidistrict proceedings
• Litigation involving medical causation, scientific evidence, and expert testimony
• Representation of manufacturers in chemical, automotive, and other product-related disputes
• A broader practice encompassing consumer class actions and commercial disputes
