Requirements

  • The successful incumbent will be detail oriented, able to follow instructions well, and work well in a team atmosphere.
  • Ability to plan work and select proper tools
  • Ability to compare and accurately determine difference in size, shape, and form of objects
  • Ability to apply shop mathematics to solve problems
  • Ability to correctly and safety use hand tools (both manual and pneumatic)
  • Ability to read a tape measure in metric and imperial standards
  • Ability to read effectively from a paper copy
  • Ability to work within precise limits and/or standards of accuracy
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to follow and understand directions
  • Previous welding experience

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to interpret, sort paper work, and engineering drawings correctly preferred, but not required
  • High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
  • AWS D1.1 and AWS D1.2 welding qualified preferred, but not required
  • Previous Stainless Steel Welding experience on 11 gauge through 18 gauge preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in press brake operation.
  • The position may assume additional duties as assigned.
  • Assists in set-up of brake
  • Assists brake operator with the forming operation
  • Place correct labels on parts and sorts to correct JIT kit
  • Assists in inspection of parts
  • Safely and effectively use tools such as hand tools, measuring tape, and machine equipment
